About
Elizabeth Smith

I am a former college professor and wine club manager turned award-winning writer and copywriter.
Writing is my calling, especially my ability to capture and share your story in your brand’s voice. I entice readers to visit your business, taste your wines, and try your food. I am your written voice so you have time to do what you do best in your business.

I am an award-winning writer, copywriter, and wine competition and writing judge. In 2017, I won the Born Digital Wine Award for Best Tourism Content with a Focus on Wine for my story, “Lodi: Beyond the Zinfandel.” I was a category winner in the 2022 Hungarian Web Wine Writing Competition for "2018 Wetzer Furmint, Tokaj, Hungary." I was also a finalist in the 2023 Wine Travel Awards "The Brightest Journey" category and served as a judge at the 2023 Winelovers Wine Awards Competition in Budapest and 2023 Open Balkan Wine Trophy in Belgrade. I hold a doctoral degree in community college education, master's and bachelor's degrees in French, a graduate minor in Spanish, and Wine & Spirit Education Trust’s Level 3 Advanced designation. I am also a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier International Sacramento and Sonoma chapters, the Circle of Wine Writers, and the International Food, Wine, and Travel Writers Association.
