On February 4, 2016, I was invited again to participate in the Snooth Wine Writer Round-Up after having participated since September 2015. Of course I said yes, and was thrilled to discover that the first topic of the year was to write about my most favorite wine vacation destination. There have been so many wonderful wine-themed trips the past seven years, including international trips Mendoza, Argentina, and the Okanagan, British Columbia. I was very close to writing about one of these destinations when it hit me. My first wine vacation destination, Napa and Sonoma in March 2009, was the beginning of a great love affair which changed my life.
